Although this project will benefit the entire South Sider community, it began as a vision for our military-connected members. For six years, our FREE Veterans' class has brought together more than 100 former and current service members, with a solid crew of returning "regulars" who benefit from the physical engagement as much as the connection to one another. Creating a safe, quiet space is essential to nurturing and growing this thriving community. This yurt now provides a permanent "home" for these deserving men and women.
